Dr. Robert Reyto, DDS, was born and raised in Hungary, survived the Holocaust, then escaped from Communism during the 1956 uprising. He was fortunate to come to the freedom of the United States, became a proud American, and assumed that his life would continue in peace. He became a dentist and served in the US Navy in the early days of Vietnam. His Seabee Battalion built the first landing strip in Vietnam, the Chu Lai Airfield. After an honorable discharge, he opened his dental practice in Beverly Hills where he practiced for over 40 years. Soon after, began teaching at UCLA dental school where he loves to share his experience and knowledge with students.

He is married to Susanne, his wife of 58 years, and in his spare time, he writes music, poetry, and novels and enjoys being a grandpa.

Still active in politics, he tries to share his background knowledge and life experiences.
