We know that $50 may seem to some like a lot of money for Republican Women Federated membership dues – and we think so too! But in truth, your local Santa Monica Club doesn’t see very much of that money. We want to share with you how valuable your membership dues are, and what we, your local Santa Monica Chapter (SMRWF), can do with it for you! Right off the top, $30 of each member's annual dues is passed to the state and national federation to support the work they do. As a club, we have to pay dues too! So, left with $20 – this is what your club is able to do!

1.Select, reserve and present amazing lunch speakers.

2.Research, create and send to you our monthly Newsletter.

3.Host amazing mixers where you have a safe space to talk with like-minded conservatives. We will have a new location for 2020.

4.Sponsor our website, SMRWF.com which has updated speaker announcements, calendar events and accepts online donations and annual membership registrations.

5.Pays for Constant Contact, which sends our monthly luncheon and mixer announcements, along with some strategic political emails.

6.Welcome new members with an annual tea and commemorative pin.

7.Partners with the Santa Monica Republican Headquarter Committee to staff and support the bi-annual campaign headquarters.

8.Attend and present a wreath at the Annual Memorial Day Celebration at Woodlawn Cemetery. You should come next year!

9.Make annual donations of support to college campus Republican Clubs, most notably UCLA Bruins and USC Trojans. Another club tradition is to give to SAMOHI Grad Night.

10.Support the Santa Monica College Veterans Resource Center with lunches and welcome breakfasts.

11.Supports the Women’s Council of Veterans Affairs with clothing and home goods donations for their housing units.

12.Circulate petitions and conduct voter registration drives.

13.Presents an annual Courageous Conservative Award at our spring luncheon to one outstanding high school student who has stood for conservative values in his high school or peer group.
