MARCH LUNCH MEETING
Wed, Mar 9th 12pm - 2:30pm
Flame International 11330 Santa Monica Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90025

Please join us for our March 9 luncheon on homelessness, housing and the scam behind it all! Our speaker is Soledad Ursua, the Venice resident and activist who led Larry Elder on a tour of Venice when he ran for CA Governor. They were accosted by a woman in gorilla mask who yelled racial slurs and threw an egg at Larry's head. Soledad explains that there’s a relationship between crime and homelessness, our public places being taken over due to failed progressive policies and “safe” consumption sites gaining more traction in the state given rampant drug use. She explains how it’s also become a tool for socialists. Groups funded by the LA Chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) are using homelessness to make a case against capitalism and private ownership. Homelessness will be a big issue in the upcoming 2022 LA County elections since it affects everyone. Come hear what Soledad says is the path forward for the City of Los Angeles. She is an elected board member of the Venice Neighborhood Council. She writes for the City Journal, California Globe, American Mind, OC Register and even the Los Angeles Times. She has also been a guest on shows like John and Ken, Larry O’Connor, John Phillips, Larry Elder, Epoch Times TV and Fox and Friends. Advance registration required by Monday, March 7. $36 for members; $40 for non-members/guests. Choice of beef or chicken kabob meals or veggie stew. Metered parking and hourly lots are available near the restaurant.
