Please join us for our September 14 luncheon to hear guest speaker Don Rosenberg deliver the truth about illegal immigration. Don was an entertainment executive and a life long liberal. Things changed on November 16, 2010, when his 25-year old son Drew, a second year law student, was killed in a hit and run by an illegal immigrant, Roberto Galo of Honduras. A bystander had to force Galo to stop his car after he backed up and drove over Drew a second time and then forward again. Galo was only convicted of vehicular manslaughter and driving without a license and sentenced to six months in jail but was released after only 43 days. Drew’s death galvanized a grieving father, and Don became an activist against illegal immigration. In 2017, along with other victims, he created Advocates for Victims of Illegal Alien Crime (AVIAC), a private organization that helps victims and works to educate the public and elected officials about the truth of illegal immigration. Don has the statistics and understands the negative impact that illegal immigration has on American lives, how it affects our country’s safety, and the financial burden that it creates. This luncheon will be held at a new venue, Tommy's Beverly Hills. Advance registration required by Sunday, September 11. $45 for members; $50 for non-members/guests. Free two-hour parking in underground garage next to the restaurant at 242 N. Canon Drive (on west side of street); $3 every 30 minutes thereafter.
