SMRWF SATURDAY SALON
Sat, Mar 29th 3:30pm - 5:30pm
SMRWF member's home Address provided upon confirmation of RSVP Santa Monica, CA TBD

Please join us on March 29 (note new date) for SMRWF’s next Saturday Salon to hear civil rights attorney and investigative journalist James Breslo speak about the Palisades Fire – what went wrong, and how can we stop it from happening again? James is a former AMLAW100 law firm partner, founder, and public company president. He is currently a legal/political consultant and commentator, writing for and appearing on numerous conservative outlets including Fox News and Epoch Times and covering issues such as the homeless, the border, DEI, crime, free speech, and transgender politics. He is a 40 year LA County resident, the last 18 of which have been in Pacific Palisades. The Palisades Fire wasn’t just a natural disaster – it was a man-made catastrophe fueled by government negligence and a failed approach to the homelessness crisis. With over half of LA’s fires now linked to homeless encampments, city leaders have prioritized billions in spending on housing programs while cutting fire department funding and ignoring critical infrastructure needs, like keeping a key reservoir operational during fire season. James will expose the mismanagement, misplaced priorities, and political failures that turned a preventable fire into a devastating loss for one of L.A.’s most affluent communities. This event will be held at a member’s home in Santa Monica (address provided before event with RSVP). This event is sold out. Stay tuned for more salons later this year. A fee of $10 for members and $15 for nonmembers will be charged at the door to cover the host’s expenses. For more information, please email SMRWFsalons@gmail.com.
