SMRWF is hosting a Zoom meeting at 7 pm on Tuesday, February 25 to provide assistance to those affected by the wildfires. Alison MacCracken, Pacific Palisades Community Liaison, will provide a "How to Rebuild 101" overview to help people navigate engineers, contractors, architects, interior designers, fire safety, the permitting process and more. Alison was asked to head the Palisades Rebuild Department for Crest Real Estate which specializes in these difficult areas of urban planning and redevelopment. The second part of our meeting, "How to Rebuild Yourself 101," will discuss emotional support for those affected by the wildfires and offer guidance from two family therapists. We are pleased to have two SMRWF members who will be joining us to talk about crises, PTSD, grief and recovery. Our therapists are Tami Friedkin, LMFT therapist and school counselor, and Leila Aboohamad, MA, LMFT therapist. Questions will be submitted through the chat.
