Please join us at the Griffin Club on Wednesday, March 12 to learn what you can do about human trafficking and online exploitation, two of the fastest growing crimes. Our speaker, Opal Singleton Hendershot, is President and CEO of Million Kids, an organization dedicated to keeping kids safe from predators. She is one of the leading voices for combatting human trafficking, social media exploitation and the impact of advanced technologies on child sex crimes. Million Kids serves as the Training and Outreach Coordinator for the Riverside County Anti Human Trafficking Task Force and works with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. Opal is an Instructor at USC Price Safe Communities Institute, USC Safe Schools Program, USC School of Social Work for the LAPD LEAD program, and the LA Fire Leadership Training Academy. Opal has educated and trained more than 750,000 government and individual leaders and has served on the Peace Officers Standardized Training panel to develop training curriculum on human trafficking for law enforcement. Opal often appears on TV and radio shows and is the author of two books. She hosts a radio show on KTIE 590 AM called Exploited: Crimes and Technology every Saturday at 3:00 pm. Opal is also Executive Producer of Sextortion: The Hidden Pandemic, a documentary that premiered at the Pentagon in 2023.
